![]() ![]() ![]() Note that Apple claims that clicking the "Reload" toolbar button has the same effect as ⌘ Cmd+ R, but this is not true frequently the button will not bypass the cache. This kind of "regular" reload will usually bypass the cache. Hold down the ⇧ Shift key and click the Reload toolbar button. On Windows and Linux, use one of the following: These instructions work for Firefox, SeaMonkey, and other related browsers. Hold the Ctrl key and click the "Refresh" button on the toolbar. ![]() Hold the ⇧ Shift key and click the Reload button Hold the Ctrl key and click the Reload button When I first start the game in Opera in non-debug mode the Real FPS is high as seen in debug mode, but after a few seconds, even without starting the game, just leaving it on the game over screen it slows down and never recovers.Hold the ⇧ Shift key and press the F5 key. Sprite animations are noticeably slower as is general movement of objects. The entire game in Opera GX in non-debug mode is just slower. There is some stutter present in debug mode but overall the game feels the same as playing on Mac or Windows directly. In debug mode I see Real FPS of over 2k, usually 4k. I quickly changed my use of structs to keep them as instance variables instead of creating new ones each draw event and that definitely reduces the amount of time shown in that object in the profiler but it didn't help with game speed in non-debug mode. ![]() I am using structs to keep track of the information needed for draw_sprite_part. I do see however that creating a struct seems fairly expensive which is surprising to me. I can profile the game in debug mode but since it is performing as expected I'm not sure it will give me much detail. Does anyone know if running in debug in Opera GX enables some feature that might not be present in my game when run normally? I do have use hardware acceleration and GPU enabled in Opera GX. So I ran it in the debugger and the game runs at full speed as it does on Mac and Windows. I've just started looking at building for Opera GX and my game, which is relatively simple, runs quite slowly in Opera GX. ![]()
